notes: turning LCD is recommended for adaptability

Canon supports Remote Control SDK which enables professional settings such as shutter speed, ISO, aperture and white balance. These functions are within future plan.

notes: generally used switches are mono type plugs which have two signal wires, however, stereo type socket, three signal wires, can be used.

2. How to Build


Step 1 - Hardware part


 mono                     stereo 		1. Audio Jack

strip the end of cord and mark wires as

mono type: inside to "+", outside to "-"
stereo type: inside red to "+", inside white to "-"
2. Wires

Prepare Red, Black and Blue wires, strip both side.
3. Header

Solder new Red and Black wires on a Header(2 pin).

Connect to gentLED terminal: Red to Red, Black to Black, respectively.
4. gentLED

solder new Blue wire to Blue of gentLED
5. Soldering

Solder to connect wires

- Red of battery holder and Red of Header

- Black of battery holder, "-" of Audio Jack and Black of Header

- "+" of Audio Jack and Blue of Header


Step 2 - Combining



1. LED to Camera

Using Velcro, place the end of LED right next to Remote Control detector of Camera

Attach mount to wheelchair

Attach the camera to Gorillapod and wind it to the mount
4. Switch

Connect a switch to the socket of hardware part
(Camera Setting) 5. Camera Setting

Camera Power On. Move to remote control mode (or see manual of the camera)
(done!) 6. Press Button to take a picture!
